hello, The wireless network adapter that has a USB can be attached to a USB to Ethernet adapter. Plus, I can put the wireless network adapter into a USB port on my computer and install the driver for it before changing it to the adapter that I would then plug into my router with a Ethernet cable. The only thing this would change is the fact that my internet signal would be coming from the network adapter instead of the Ethernet cable currently running from my cable modem to my router. Please help. Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet. hello, A wireless network adapter is a device that connects your PC to a wireless network. To connect your portable or desktop PC to your wireless network, the PC must have a wireless network adapter. Most laptops and tablets—and some desktop PCs—come with a wireless network adapter already installed. BizTechNation
